Fleet Foxes became pretty much the most hyped band on the planet last year. It all seemed to culminate when they won Pitchfork’s Album of the Year award and announced a high profile slot on the 2009 edition of Coachella. The band’s album sold nearly 500,000 copies worldwide in a year when album sales were tanking. Sparking all kinds of interest from major labels before the band quickly said they wouldn’t be leaving Sub Pop.
This is a video of the band on BBC2 show The Culture Show. It features an interview with the band as well as two songs performed live.
