Voxtrot is back! I love this band. It seems like most of my favorite bands come from a few different cities around the country/world that have very distinct music scenes. Austin has produced more of my favorite bands than any other city I can think of. Austin has at least three bands in my all time top 10 favorite bands list alone. At The Drive In, Explosions In The Sky, and Spoon. Three very different sounding bands all united by the sound of Austin, Texas. I mention Spoon here as this new Voxtrot track Trepanation Party was recorded and mixed with Jim Eno of Spoon at his studio in Austin. Enjoy folks!
