Detachments are from London and mix the sounds of Joy Division inspired post-punk with dubbed out disco punk basslines more in tune with the DFA Records camp. Parallels is among the new leaders of the cosmic/nu-disco scene that is steadily taking over electronic music.

It made for a pretty perfect match when Parallels decided to remix the new single by Detachments. The track is called “The Flowers That Fell” and is a piece of retro-inspired disco magic.
