Here's the premiere of the first video off the upcoming Peaches album. The album will be out this summer on XL. The track is called "More".

04.28.09video: the pains of being pure at heartHere's the latest video from Brooklyn band The Pains Of Being Pure At Heart. These guys (and lady) have produced some of my favorite music I've heard over the past couple of years. If you didn't live through the glory days of The Smiths, it will make you feel good to know this band might end up being even better in the end. This is the track "Young Adult Friction" off their recent Slumberland release.

04.28.09acl 2009 lineup announcedThe Austin City Limits Music Festival is taking place October 2nd-4th at Zilker Park in Austin. We've got a total of 130 bands this year, and a number of big draws among them. Three day passes are available for $185.

04.28.09the decemberists return to colbertThe Decemberists made their long awaited return to The Colbert Report last night. The band spent much of the show discussing their native city of Portland as well as playing a few new tracks for the crowd.

04.27.09terry richardson for icbJapanese clothing brand ICB chose to use the classic Pink Panther character for their latest look book. The photoshoot was done with fashion photography giant Terry Richardson and is entitled “Girls Love the Pink Panther”. Here's a few more shots.

04.27.09video: the horrorsThe Horrors are coming off a bit like a modern day Velvet Underground with this latest video. The video is for the track "Sea Within A Sea" and was directed by original Jesus And The Mary Chain bassist Douglas Hart.

04.24.09tomorrow at the clubhouseMates of State have spent the last several years as the "cutest couple" in indie rock. However, they've never let themselves turn into a gimmick and have continued to pound out solid records instead of resting on their laurels. Stateside Presents is bringing them back to Arizona tomorrow night. They'll be joined by current buzz band Black Kids. FMF photographer Tyler Nevitt will be there to snap some photos.

04.24.09wilco show updateTickets for the Wilco show at Centennial Hall on the University of Arizona campus are on sale now! The doors are opening at 7pm and guest opener Grizzly Bear will be going on at 8pm prompt. Wilco will take the stage in Tucson for the first time in 12 years at 9:15. Tickets can be found for $32 here.
