Simian Mobile Disco are the reigning masters of the remix. Where too many producers take a track and pull out all the original quirks that make the song what it is in favor of their own style, SMD always make sure their remix is a good mix of the two group’s styles. This remix of the Deerhunter track “Octet” is a great example of what they do. This one is very spacey, but with a constant beat moving it forward.
