Dean Spunt is a man after my heart. Not only does he play in one of my favorite bands, No Age, but he also runs one of my new favorite record labels. Post Present Medium has released two of my favorite albums of 2009 thus far, and the Gun Outfit album Dim Light is one of them.

The band reminds me of Dinosaur Jr. at their prime. There’s some serious fuzz-pop happening on this album. It’s fantastic and I recommend picking it up immediately, as well as their self titled 7″, also on PPM. Here’s one of my favorite tracks off Dim Light.
