Major Lazer’s album Guns Don’t Kill People Lazers Do has been the surprise of the year for me. It’s not that I don’t think Diplo and Switch are incredibly talented producers, I just didn’t expect the two would come together and create an album that uses so many different sounds and musical elements.

I’m also very impressed with the backstory of the album and the art direction the project has taken. This video for “Hold The Line” combines all the elements that make this album great. I don’t think I could adequately describe it in words, so pick up the record and put it in your headphones.
