I love this record and I am pretty apt to listen to any remix I see of one of the tracks off it. With that, the band has released a full instrumental version of the album for free download via the amazingly awesome website Free Music Archive. However, I think we can definitely make an exception for this one. The band that everyone is talking about this year is touching down in Phoenix on October 28th. And I'm overly excited about Dirty Projectors playing at the most perfect venue in town for their show. Get the tickets as soon as they go on sale, there's no doubt this one is selling out.

"Never Say Never Again" is from the EP called We Are Bus Fare. It was recently released by the French underground label Stay Hard Harry. 08.26.093sixteen fall/winter 2009 lookbook3sixteen is one of my favorite labels out there and I'm loving the looks they've got for the upcoming fall/winter season. I'm also loving the photography that was done for this lookbook. Black and white always does the trick for me. For this collection, the majority of the goods were constructed in the United States. The shoes were made in Maine, the outerwear in California, and the leather goods in Oregon. Phoenicia Association carries 3sixteen locally, though I don't know how much of this stuff they'll be getting in quite yet.

08.26.09video: silver medallion- “gravity”This blog is all about the advancement of the music and arts scene in Phoenix, so it's great to see them combine to create something special. Local photographer Giulio Sciorio directed and filmed this music video in HD using a Canon 5D MKII. Giulio is also a part of local photography cooperative Studio 8 and has made Phoenix proud with this one. Silver Medallion's track "Gravity" is off their recently released album Last of the Popstars and recently started receiving airplay on Power 98.3, so give it up to these guys for doing their own thing free of any label ...
