The video that everyone has been waiting for what seems like ages to see has finally been made available. Early this morning, Modest Mouse released their new music video that was directed by the late Heath Ledger before his passing in January of 2008. The music video for “King Rat” is an incredibly vivid (and gory) animated clip. The song didn’t make the cut for their 2007 release, We Were Dead Before the Ship Even Sank, but was chosen by Heath to receive his first (and only?) director credit. This is a work of art in the truest sense of the word.
