Yes, I know I’ve been slacking on posting local music lately, but that’s all going to change. Especially with all the good stuff I’ve been getting my hand’s on lately. Knesset’s vocalist/guitarist Evan gave me the promotional EP for their forthcoming LP, Coming Of Age, this past weekend and I’ve had it playing in my car ever since. It’s the perfectly concise EP, with five brief tracks leaving you wanting more. The recording is fantastic and it was mixed by John Congleton (Modest Mouse, Explosions In The Sky, St. Vincent, Black Mountain) and features guest appearances by members of Lymbyc Systym and Crystal Castles. “Tell Me All Your Lies” features a Rhodes piano, horns, and female backing vocals.
