Russian Circles has been one of my favorite bands playing instrumental post-rock/metal for the past few years, and they’ve blown me away more than once with their live show. “Malko” is the first track that’s been released from their new album Geneva, which is coming out next month. The track is under five minutes in length but still manages to grace genres as diverse as metal, prog, punk, math rock, and more. The band is going to be touring in support of the album with two incredible opening bands, luckily making a stop in Phoenix.
