I basically begged Mercurius FM to be the first to share this new remix he did with you, and he was kind enough to indulge us. The most immediately enjoyable track from Simian Mobile Disco’s latest album is taken to new levels here. The bassline in this is one of my favorite I’ve heard this year, and I’m wondering when this local producer is going to break on a national level. Alexis Taylor’s (Hot Chip) vocals soar over this one and I can’t stop nodding my head throughout the entire length. Mercurius is in the process of recording a new promo mix that I’m sure this one will find it’s way into. I’m highly anticipating it.
