The debut album from Girls is finally out in physical form, and let me tell you it’s a beautiful chunk of vinyl. In honor of being able to finally own this wonderful record, here’s the final song on the album. “Darling” showcases the way this band effortlessly combines influences from classic rock, psyche, 60′s girl-groups, and surf. The album is incredibly diverse, sporting a few honest-to-god ballads and a few songs designed to knock you down flat with their intensity. Because of this, not a single song on the album is worth skipping. This is an album in the truest sense of the word, and something I’m recommending everyone pick up immediately. Arizona is getting a chance to see this band in Tucson on December 8th, take advantage of it!
