Junior Boys frontman Jeremy Greenspan apparently loves Halloween as much as the rest of us. Since the band is touring throughout October and early November to support their new single “Bits and Pieces”, they decided to celebrate the holiday at each show. The band is requesting that fans at each date come to the show in costumes and promise that free merchandise will be given to the people at each venue that come with the best costume on. These guys put on a brilliant performance at the Rhythm Room a few months back and I promised myself that night I would be at the show the next time they returned. While it doesn’t look like they’ll be coming through Phoenix this time, they are playing at a great venue in Tucson on a Saturday night. Phoenicians don’t have much of an excuse not to be at this. It’s going to be a hell of a party.
