Saturday night I took a break from the festivities at Fun Fun Fun Festival and made my way down to the Mohawk to meet up with the ladies from The Coathangers. Upon arrival Julia (guitar/vocals) and Stephanie (drums/vocals) made their way outside and greeted me. We made introductions and we joined by Candice (keyboards/vocals), and Meredith (bass/vocals). They were all extremely friendly and were immediately likable. We headed next door to the Club Deville and made our way to the back patio to converse, after the girls greeted a friend and we had gathered some drinks we sat down and had the following conversation. It’s candid and not even edited! WOO.



After we were done we chatted some more off the record and the girls and I parted ways. Derrick and I would see them again later that night as they closed out our Saturday night with their infectious blend of Rock N’ Roll. The set was great and the Mohawk was definitely feeding off their energy.
