Bot’Ox is the team of Julien Biffaz and Benjamin Boguet (Cosmo Vitelli) joining forces and creating dark and dense electronic music. The band has crafted wonderful tracks for labels like DFA, DC recordings, and I’m a cliché. They specialize in creating music that would best be served for the afterparty lit only by candlelight and filled with people that seem like they may be just a bit off. The group’s new single is different from the majority of their recorded output. It features beautiful vocals and hazy rhythms and turns out to be one of the best French pop songs that wasn’t released by Phoenix this year. Combine this with the incredibly simple, yet captivating, music video and we’ve got a big winner.
