It’s really awesome to hear a great remix by a local producer, especially when it’s of one of my favorite tracks of recent times. The XX’s debut album is still on constant repeat and “Shelter” is one I find myself coming back to most often. The track is one of the most musically sparse on the album, being carried almost completely by the vocals Romy Madley Croft. Death To The Throne decided to add some serious oomph to the track and make it infinitely more friendly to the dancefloor. I can only hope that local DJs take this one and run with it. Doing a brief search led me to a multitude of sites where this new track had been posted. Keep doing your thing and representing Phoenix to the fullest!
