In the spirit of the season of giving, and best-of lists, 4AD is releasing their annual sampler of some of the best songs they put out this year… and giving it away for free! The compilation features tracks by Deerhunter, Atlas Sound, Camera Obscura, and more. My personal favorite of all of these happens to be “So Far Around The Bend.” The National released this song on the Dark Was The Night charity compilation that came out earlier this year on 4AD and has raised over $500,000 for Red Hot to date!
