I was already fully aware of and looking forward to seeing The Strange Boys play at The Trunk Space on February 23rd. The band, featuring members of Mika Miko and Darker My Love, released a fantastic album on In The Red earlier this year called The Strange Boys And Girls Club. After seeing the band lay down an incredible set at Fun Fun Fun Fest last month, and seeing the local openers on the bill, I was more than ready to fork over some cash to see this show. But now we’ve got news that another band has been pegged to co-headline the show. Chain & The Gain features Ian Svenonius, formerly of Nation of Ulysses and The Make-Up. The band released a pretty fun album on K Records earlier this year and should prove to be a great band to end a spirited night of music. Listen to some tracks below and get your tickets.
