I was already terribly excited for the release of Midlake’s new album The Courage of Others, but recent events have elevated that excitement to new heights. The first of which is the 12″ release “Acts of Man”/”Rulers, Ruling All Things,” which contains two tracks from the forthcoming album. I’ve included these below for your enjoyment. Yes, I know I spoil you. The second and equally awesome piece of news is that the band will be dropping by Plush in Tucson on March 1st in support of their new album, which will be released on February 2nd. It’s looking like there will be lots of trips to Tucson for shows in early 2010 for me. If you know what’s good for you, you’ll make the drive too.
