Austin boys White Denim released a scorcher of an album earlier this year with Fits. I heard countless garage rock albums this year, but few that featured musicians as razor-sharp as the three that make up this band. And even fewer that were willing to experiment with psychedelia, jazz, and prog while keeping the momentum moving ever-forward. This band is completely overpowering in the best way and their live show could only end up as the biggest party of the first month of 2010.
