I spend a lot of time listening to and writing about bands from Austin. And why wouldn’t I? The city is one of the most musically inclined in the world. Being that there are so many great artists there, it can be hard to keep up with all the bands in the Texas capital. One that I recently discovered is called Pure Ecstasy. Their music is as washed out and stoned sounding as their name would lead you to believe and I thought their single “Easy” would be perfect for today’s weather. The track was recently released on a 7″ through Lightlodge and the band was lucky enough to have a performance of them playing the song in SF recorded by Yours Truly, which I’ve included for your enjoyment.
