Psyko Steve just delivered some pretty wonderful news to me. Being the sharing guy that I am, of course the readers of this site would be next to know. On Tuesday, March 30th the local promoter will bring one of the most exciting acts in recent years to the Rhythm Room. If you’re unfamiliar with Astronautalis, let me give you a brief rundown. Andy Bothwell originally got his start in music as a battle rapper but has since expanded his repertoire to include a heavy influence from blues, indie rock, American gothic art and imagery, and incredible live instrumentation. His sound can hardly be explained using standard genres, and honestly needs to be heard to really understand it. Even better than hearing it on record will be seeing him perform.
I like that you make it simple for viewers to find concerts, music, news, and so much else. No one has time to search and search for what they need to know. It is also nice to see a simple layout on a blog because so much of the time there are too many distractions. Keep up the good work!

Thanks so much for the feedback. I do this out of the love for Phoenix and the wonderful independent arts and music scene we have here, and all the people who inhabit it. I’m glad that it’s been of benefit to you and I will definitely keep it going for a long time to come.
