Joanna Newsom has revealed the cover art and release date of her upcoming triple (?!) LP called “Have One On Me”. And all this time I thought she was enjoying her new life as a fashion icon and schmoozer too much to put out another record anytime soon. Boy was I wrong! And happy that I was. Joanna’s album “Ys” is still to this day one of the best albums I’ve ever heard. If she can bring the razor sharp focus of that album to the new album, which is being released on February 23rd, she could possibly release an album that will be seen as a measure of comparison for years to come. Along with the cover art and release date, she also leaked out one of the tracks from the album.
