Earlier this morning I was lucky enough to catch this awesome post from Gomma Records promoting their newly released “Baby” video for The Phenomenal Handclap Band. Directed Stephen Agnew, “Baby” was shot about a half a year ago in NYC. It’s release appears to coincide with The Phenomenal Handclap Band’s March 12th single release featuring remixes by Blackstrobe, Daniel Haaksman, Clock Opera, and Rodion. It’s a beautiful video that features lush cinematography, vintage effects, and…gore?! In Gomma’s own words “Baby” is a “…3-minute blood, soul and slasher micro masterpiece”. Well, I don’t know if I’d call it a masterpiece, but it is pretty bad ass! Also, Gomma claims the band is currently organizing a European tour for this spring, so get your passports ready if you can’t wait for US dates.
