It has become a normal occurrence to see this band opening for big acts that come through town, as well as headlining bills of local bands at venues all around town. They were joined by their love for electronic music and upon graduating took a trip to Berlin to soak in all the amazing scene that city has to offer. Tempe is one of the 10 lucky cities that are getting a visit from the Adult Swim Block Party tour that will feature different musicians at each stop along the way, along with a variety of other entertainment. 04.08.10|Video: Freelance Whales – “Generator 2nd Floor”|Freelance Whales have gone from busking in NYC subway stations and playing shows at abandoned farm colonies in Staten Island to landing high profile gigs at Sasquatch and Lollapalooza, all in less than a years time.
