|Cults Release Free EP And Are Headed To Tucson|

There’s not a lot of information out there about New York’s Cults, in fact the band doesn’t even have a Myspace profile. While keeping information about the members behind a band shielded has certainly become a bit of a marketing gimmick lately, this band has recently released a three-song EP that’s blazing a trail across the blog world. I wouldn’t want to be one to miss the party, and certainly wouldn’t want any of our readers to miss a chance to hear this band. They’re doing one of the most authentic and best takes on the 60′s girl-group sound that I love so much and I’ve listened to these three songs on repeat countless times since the band put up the EP for free download over here.

The band is hitting the road in July for their first tour, alongside Maps and Atlases and Globes. Arizona lucked out as this tour will be making a stop at Club Congress in Tucson on July 23rd. The video below is footage from their first show, which took place at New York’s Mercury Lounge earlier this month. With a few more months practice under their belts, I’m willing to bet they’re going to have quite a few people dancing around when they visit Tucson. Have a sample of my favorite song from the EP below, and download the whole thing immediately. Seriously, what are you waiting for!? Let the addiction begin.
