First things first today; a big round of applause to the Phoenix Suns who finally managed to win a game 1 against the Spurs. Now that it’s the semifinals and we’re playing the team I hate more than any other, you probably wont hear me talk about much more than basketball for the next few weeks. Well, I guess I’ll do some talking about music as well, as you’ve probably come to expect it from this site by now. Today I wanted to post a new track from one of my favorite purveyors of disco, Holy Ghost. The duo is back with a new EP that will be released later this month on DFA and “Say My Name” is the first single.

The EP is called “Static On The Wire” and features guest performances by The Juan Maclean and others. They are going on tour as a full band to support the release. Even better, they’re going to opening for the always incredible LCD Soundsystem. In honor of the tour, Holy Ghost remixed the recent smash single “Drunk Girls” by LCD Soundsystem. Unfortunately this tour isn’t headed to Arizona, but it is selling out all over the country and will have a few dates on the West Coast. If you’re feeling like traveling during the next few months, catching this tour would be a great excuse to hop on a plane.
