Woven Bones is a band that was originally conceived in Tucson, but now calls Austin home. If you’ve ever been to Austin, you know it’s the land of cheap beer and loud music. The city has one of the most thriving garage scenes in the world right now, and Woven Bones are one of the best imports the city has to offer. If you like scuzzy and sexy music, they may quickly become your favorite band. I’ve managed to catch the band play a few times and they’ve impressed me each time, even with the subpar sound at their recent show at Yucca.

The band released a string of killer 7″s that have been gobbled up quickly by fans and is finally giving us an LP. “In And Out And Back Again” will be released on May 18th on trusted label HoZac Records, who recently released the vinyl version of the Dum Dum Girls stellar album “I Will Be”. If you’re a vinyl fiend like I am, you should visit their site and preorder the limited clear vinyl version of “In And Out And Back Again”. I know you’re going to download it as soon as it leaks anyways, but show some support to these small indie labels too!
