I’ll be honest and say that I think I start to have allergic reactions anytime I get near Mill Avenue. In fact, just the thought of going to a club on the infamous street gives me the creeps, especially since Jersey Shore came on the air and a bunch of frat boys in Tempe decided to try to convince everyone that they were in fact The Situation. Obviously it takes a lot to get me to go out to Mill. UK Thursdays at Cherry Lounge has succeeded in getting me there more than once, and now they actually have me incredibly excited to go to Mill Ave next Thursday. I know! What the hell is wrong with me? I have good reasons!

That’s because on Thursday, July 8th Cherry Lounge will be hosting the biggest party of the summer so far. If you thought you’d have to drive to LA or some other city considered to be more culturally with it to see Rusko, well you were wrong! That’s right, the reigning king of dubstep is coming to Arizona, boycott or not! The Leeds native is currently calling LA home as he has been stationed there working on the new M.I.A. album. He also managed to release an album of his own lately that has taken it’s place amongst the best electronic releases of the year. You better believe that this isn’t one to miss. Overpriced drinks and annoying girls with blown-out hair be damned! Come to dance.
