It’s not often I get to see a band that I’ve been crazy about since my early teen years. In fact, it’s not often I’d even admit to liking a band that my 14-year old self thought was good. However, Ted Leo And The Pharmacists are the exception to both of those statements. These guys have been one of the most consistent and original bands in indie rock since they formed in 1999 and seeing their incredibly technical proficient live show is something I’ve been lusting over for as long as I can remember. Well here’s the golden opportunity!
I’m just gonna go ahead and say thank you times a million to Stateside and Psyko Steve for not booking this show at The Clubhouse. Everyone knows The Rhythm Room is so much lovelier! Get your tickets early for this one because I’m almost positive it wont take very long for this one to sell out. I wouldn’t recommend letting the chance to see a world class musician in such an intimate environment pass you by. I’ll be in the front row reliving the years when I had much more acne on my face and much more embarrassing taste.
