I feel that the heart and soul of a city is defined by the level of community interaction that takes place. As Phoenix is such a young city and constantly in a state of growth, I feel like it’s doubly important here. That’s why free events that focus on getting different groups to come together and have fun are such a precious thing. Civic Space Jam has been a shining example of how to do these events the right way and the fact that it has lasted so long just goes to show that. The monthly event will happen for the ninth consecutive month on Sunday, and the lineup is full of great DJs from different scenes around the city. Now I know it’s gonna be hot on Sunday, and the organizers of the party clearly know it too. That’s why they pushed it back to 6-10PM this month and are even hooking up attendees with free Otter Pops. You can’t say no to that!
