Local band Mr. Meeble just gave the internet a treat by posting a new song named “Gift” for all their fans to gobble up. This track is epic and lush and quite possibly the best song I’ve heard come out of Phoenix all year. This is exactly the kind of sound I’m looking for when I’m staying inside on hot summer nights to avoid having to take my third shower of the day. Luckily we shouldn’t have to wait much longer to get a whole lot more Meeble, as they also shared the news that they’re busy at work on their second album. If you haven’t been lucky enough to catch one of their sets, you’re missing out on one of the best live acts in town. So stop punishing yourself and make sure you catch them!
