If you’ve managed to miss all the hype about Wild Nothing that has been swirling around the blogosphere as of late, then allow me to introduce the man. That’s right, this is a one-man project created by Jack Tatum. He has managed to release one of the better albums of 2010 with “Gemini”, which is definitely finding a home in my personal favorites of the year. He mixes the sounds of dream-pop with synths that are very reminiscent of acts like New Order, and layers his gorgeously-crafted vocals on top. I think I’ve probably posted about Abe Vigoda more times than any other band on this blog, so I doubt I need to introduce you to them again. I’m pretty excited to get a chance to see them at my favorite venue though. Be at the Rhythm Room for this on February 2nd!
