I’ve been up in Flagstaff kicking it for the past few days and wanted to recommend Beaver Street Brewery to all the Phoenix people. This is one of the better breweries I’ve been to in the state. It’s right in the downtown Flagstaff core and has a patio with killer views of the San Francisco Peaks. The beer is definitely on point and the food is way better than most brewery grub, especially the wood fired pizzas. My top picks were the R&R Oatmeal Stout and their IPA.

This is my first mention of a restaurant on this site, and I’m glad The Breadfruit is the first. I had lunch at this spot on Saturday and I’ve got to say it’s quickly taken the place of one of my favorite restaurants in Phoenix. This place serves Jamaican comfort food in a really comfortable spot on the corner of 1st & Pierce in downtown Phoenix. The jerk chicken and shrimp was so full of flavor that I had about eight glasses of water with my meal. Highly recommended!
