04.09.09the fall find new labelLegendary post-punk band The Fall have found a new home. They just inked a deal with Domino Records, home to acts such as Franz Ferdinand and Animal Collective. According to the label, The Fall is preparing to enter the studio in England where they'll record a new album for the label. There's no official date for the album's release yet, but they promise it should be out by the end of 2009.

03.20.09animal crackCatsup Plate Records is putting out a 3LP box set of live recordings recorded on minidiscs during the first three years of Animal Collective's existence. This has been rumored for years, and now it's finally coming out. The news actually broke via an Ebay auction. The label is auctioning off a test press of the box set to benefit Doctors Without Borders. The auction is already at $1,325.00 with almost five days remaining.
