04.22.09mp3: neon indianSince yesterday officially welcomed back the 90+ degree temperatures to Phoenix, I thought I'd post a track that I could find myself listening to frequently this summer. Neon Indian is band that has one member that lives in Austin and another that lives in Brooklyn. They make their music by mail correspondence and aren't revealing their identities as of yet. 03.03.09i heart azLocal promoter Stephen Chilton (better known as Psyko Steve) has produced one hell of a showcase for Arizona musicians at this years South By Southwest festival. The event is going down at one of the best venues in Austin, The Jackalope. It will take place from 12pm to 7pm on Thursday, March 19th. The event is one of the few events taking place during the conference that is completely free and does not require a SXSW wristband for entrance.
