Blitzen Trapper’s rootsy folk music soundtracks a serial killer’s descent into madness in this clip directed by Daniel Elkayam. The band is working on the followup to Furr, but luckily they’re not done exploring the album’s multitude of video-worthy tracks in the meantime.

Today’s preview is about Blitzen Trapper. These guys hail from Portland, Oregon and play folk influenced rock music. They travel in the same circles as bands like Fleet Foxes and Band of Horses. This style of music is all the rage right now and it isn’t a surprise that all three of the mentioned bands got a slot on Coachella this year. Blitzen Trapper released the critically acclaimed record Furr on Sub Pop last year and this track comes from that album.
