01.17.11Sundown Showdown 3 Happens This WeekendIt's that time again for my favorite Phoenix DIY punk/hardcore fests. Granted, there aren't a lot of those competing with Sundown Showdown, but I'd find it hard to beat even if there were. The fest took place last year at Yucca Tap Room and this year will be transported to somewhere a little more cramped and grimy. 02.04.10|Fox Fest at The Iron Lady|There's been a lot of chatter since I originally posted the news that a new house venue named Judy was opening. Unfortunately, it seems like some people don't value the amazing opportunity we're being given in Phoenix to enjoy shows at DIY spaces, as well as more traditional clubs and bars. The benefit is happening Saturday night at Conspire. Donations of any amount will be accepted. Come out and help support independent Phoenix media.
