It's always awesome to see how many people and gear can possibly be crammed into my neighborhood watering hole. It's especially fun as people get more and more drunk and start trying to dance around. 12.09.09* Chain & The Gang and The Strange Boys are playing The Trunk SpaceI was already fully aware of and looking forward to seeing The Strange Boys play at The Trunk Space on February 23rd. The band, featuring members of Mika Miko and Darker My Love, released a fantastic album on In The Red earlier this year called The Strange Boys And Girls Club. After seeing the band lay down an incredible set at Fun Fun Fun Fest last month, and seeing the local openers on the bill, I was more than ready to fork over some cash to see this show. 06.24.09hooves and snow songs at lost leafIn just under an hour a party is going to go down at Lost Leaf on 5th St & Roosevelt. The bar is one of my favorite in town with it's speakeasy feel and live entertainment provided nearly nightly and never with a cover charge. Tonight's show features local bands Hooves and Snow Songs, along with Harris Trucks from NYC. The show should get going around 9 with Hooves taking the state at midnight. See you there!

03.21.09saturday nightIt seems Hooves has been playing a show or two every weekend lately. Here's another one going on at The Ruby Room. This should be a good pre-party for the Bikini Lounge tonight.

03.12.09last minute show noticeI just found out that Hooves will be playing tonight at Coach and Willie's along wtih DJ's Boris and Daniel from Supersensational Saturdays at the Bikini Lounge. I was already heading there this evening, but this makes it even more fun. I imagine it will all be starting around 10 or so. Coach and Willie's is located at 412 S 3rd St in downtown Phoenix.
