A friend invited me to a BBQ tonight, which led me on a quest to find the perfect song for grilling meat and drinking beer on a porch. Luckily Lee Fields just released a whole album of them, called My World, on Truth & Soul Records. "Ladies" is slow-burning summertime soul at it's finest. Lee has the right idea on this one.
