The album was co-produced by James Ford of Simian Mobile Disco and Josh Homme of Queens of the Stone Age. Could there be a possible stoner-rock tint to this album? It would certainly be an interesting direction for the band to go in. 05.15.09broken social scene recordingBroken Social Scene hasn't released a proper LP since 2005, mostly due to the members of the band taking the world by storm with solo projects. Well, the wait will finally be over soon as the band is holed up at Soma Electronic Music Studio in Chicago working on album number four right now. John McEntire (Tortoise, Sea and the Cake) will be recording the album for the band. Can we get a tour date in Phoenix this summer? Please?

04.02.09wolfmother is back!Wolfmother has been silent for far too long, but now the band is back. They're offering their new track off their forthcoming album as a free download at Wolfmother.com. The track is called "Black Round" and was recorded in LA with acclaimed UK producer Alan Moulder. The album will surface later this year on Modular Records.
