What's even better is Surfer Blood's entire debut album seems to have been created specifically for those that worship the electric guitar. Surfer Blood has received an incredible amount of justified hype in anticipation of their debut album, Astro Coast. The LP is scheduled to be released on January 19th and can be pre-ordered here. 10.27.09mp3: surfer blood- “floating vibes”Surfer Blood just may have been the busiest band at CMJ 2009. The band crammed twelve sets into the week and had very positive receptions throughout. That's great for New York, but luckily the band will be coming through Phoenix and playing The Trunk Space on December 7th. The band is about to release one of the catchiest indie albums this year with their debut LP Astro Coast. "Floating Vibes" reminds me of everything I loved about the older Weezer albums, and power pop in general. Download
