The Trunkspace has been providing some of the best music and art shows for the past five years now in Phoenix. It has become an institution that can consistently be counted on to book bands and artists that are doing things outside the norm and hopefully remains a landmark in the Phoenix scene for years to come. There couldn't be a better night than First Friday to celebrate their anniversary, so here's the party! There will be some great art on display and great music as well.

The Black Jacket are the latest band to perform on TheTrainTracks.org. The idea of the website is to take a band/solo musician and have them perform on the light rail while it rides around the city of Phoenix. I've loved the project since I first heard about it and The Black Jacket turn in another stellar performance for the site in the latest video. You can view it here.
