The Golden FIlter burst on the scene in the summer of 2008 with their single “Solid Gold,” and have never looked back since. The New York (by way of Australia and Ohio) based duo stands out in the increasingly crowded market of groups playing discohouse music thanks in large part to Penelope’s perfect vocals.
